Dang it. Darn it. If this is Christopher, why?? He was in Austin for a nice time. To enjoy good music, food, weather, and the people.
There must be some sort of study by now about young males, alcohol, & water. I just don’t understand it, and probably never will. Why does this seem to be such a reoccurrence over the past few years?

These are the questions that won’t be answered. It seems inevitable...alcohol and nearby water.

Body found in Lake Austin identified as missing ACL concert goer

The body was recovered and positively identified by the Travis County Medical Examiner as White. The cause and manner of death is pending the Medical Examiner's final ruling, sheriff's officials said. There was no evidence of foul play, officials added.

I am so sad about this.
Any one of us could have been attending ACL.
Some of us probably did, or had loved ones who went.
All expected a fun weekend.
What an absolutely tragic turn of events.
You know how ‘they’ (the Red Cross maybe?) came up with the ‘buddy system’ to never go swimming alone? What if there could be a national campaign on college campuses to never let your friends go ANYwhere alone when they are intoxicated. We have the don’t drink and drive initiative, but I think among young men there needs to be a don’t drink and walk alone educational effort. More awareness should be spread beyond just us here about the inherent dangers of young males, under the influence, wandering alone at night.
