''AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Police Department Cold Case Unit is asking for the public’s help in solving a 2008 murder.
On January 18, 2008, around 11:40 a.m., a man walking his dog discovered the body of a woman in a field southwest of a parking lot at 6800 I-40 East.''

''In the early morning of January 18, 2008, Amarillo PD officers were dispatched to a call about a female found in the field behind Buckles Lounge at 6800 E Interstate 40. The body was identified as 21-year-old Crystal Dawn Booker. Due to the suspicious nature of the location of her body and the injuries she received, it was quickly ruled as a Homicide.

Crystal Booker's murder was the first reported Homicide of 2008 and it has yet to be closed. The Special Crimes Unit wants to find her killer.
