Thanks. J Guimond was the one missing "Josh" I could find on NamUs who possibly matched, but then I browsed his thread here and it seemed unlikely.

I feel like this case is solvable but this man hasn't been formally reported missing (or not followed-up on by LE...)

Very long shot - What if his first name is James or something else, and he thought of himself as "Josh?"

Went missing in 1995 at age 17, blond hair, blue eyes, 5'8"

-NamUs #MP12993 James T.
Went missing in 1992 at age 18,
blond hair, blue eyes, 5'9". But he was thought to have gone missing in the woods.

James B. Went missing in 1999 at age 28. This puts him a bit out of the estimated age range.
Blond hair, blue eyes, 6'4" so height also a bit high from estimation.

I don’t think Alfred Swain McFarland (32) is too much of a long shot. He was homeless in Seattle and went missing 10/22/2003. Maybe headed towards a warmer climate for the winter.

Same height, weight not too far off and also has blonde, straight hair and blue eyes. Fits with the pre 40 age estimate.

The authorities have UID fingerprints. Seems like they would have been compared already since one of these photos of Alfred looks like it could be a mugshot. Not all are auto loaded into the system though. Neither is listed as a rule out for the other.

UID states face is recognizable. Would be great to get a sketch or recon. Alfred has some unique features. Looks like he may weigh much less in the second photo. His face is sunken and elongated there.
