Liberty County — The principal of Hardin Junior High School in Liberty County is charged with child pornography after a juvenile student and his mother came to the Sheriff's Office and filed a report about a social media video the juvenile had received, believed to have been sent by Dr. Chad Dwight Barrett, 56.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division arrested Dr. Barrett on Thursday for Possession/Promotion of Child Pornography, a 3rd Degree Felony.
