I believe he has been identified as this man recently added to ClaimUs, Martin Gonzalez Contreras. Note the same discovery date and location and the matching clothing descriptions. UP1823 is still up though. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
His first name is actually Marco. I just misremembered what it was. Oops.

Also of note is that #UP1825, who does not have a thread here, was also found on the same day in the same place under the same circumstances (shot to death at a drug house, although this fact was removed from both of their descriptions at some point). I'm pretty sure these two men were found together but it wasn't mentioned anywhere on NamUs: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
