Laredo PD is asking the community for any information regarding a man who is still missing.

The Laredo Police Department is actively investigating a case of a missing man.

Edgar Martinez, age 19, was last seen on Wednesday December 21, 2022.

If anyone has any information about the location of Martinez, they are asked to contact the Laredo Police Department at (956) 795-2800 or Laredo Crimestoppers at 727-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.

Laredo Police continue search for missing man

LPD investigators have released pictures of a red in color, single cab Chevy Silverado truck that the victim, Edgar Martinez, age 19, is last seen getting into. The area this footage was taken from is from the Mines Rd./ Fasken area.

Laredo mother asks for help in the search for missing son

The family of Edgar Martinez, 19, is pleading with the community for any piece of information that could be helpful in locating him.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The search continues for a Laredo teen who was last seen on Dec. 21.

The family of Edgar Martinez, 19, is pleading with the community for any piece of information that could be helpful in locating him.

“He was supposed to be here at home. He doesn’t go out without saying, he always lets us know where he’s going. Actually, he rarely goes out, but he always kisses us goodbye before leaving. He doesn’t just leave like he left that day. I don’t know what happened,” said Garza.

Since Edgar’s disappearance, the family has started their own investigation since they have not received additional information from police.

Garza said Edgar is a model son and this situation is something he doesn’t deserve.

The family has a last pinged location from Edgar’s phone.

FBI searching for Laredo man missing since December

Edgar Martinez Jr., 19, was last seen at about 7 p.m. on Dec. 21 as he got into the passenger side of a red single-cab Chevrolet pickup truck.

The FBI says Edgar Martinez Jr. may be the victim of a kidnapping​

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help in finding a Laredo man who has been missing since December.

Edgar Martinez Jr., 19, was last seen at about 7 p.m. on Dec. 21 as he got into the passenger side of a red single-cab Chevrolet pickup truck.

Martinez is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and a short beard and mustache. He was wearing an orange sweater, blue and white basketball shorts and white sandals when he disappeared.

Martinez was working as a security gate guard for the oil fields near Laredo.

Investigators believe Martinez may be in Texas or Mexico and may be the victim of a kidnapping.
