Circumstances of Disappearance
Ernesto Garcia is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who served in Iraq and disappeared around 2 AM on February 2, 2015 with his brother, Jesus Garcia: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) who was U.S. Army Veteran who served in Afghanistan. The two brothers had traveled to Matamoros, Mexico to visit family, a trip they did every few months. Unlike previous trips, the two brothers decided they would leave their location in Matamoros which was about 20 minutes south of Brownsville, Texas at about 2 AM and make the trip back to the United States.
