4 siblings shot inside their Houston home; masked gunmen may be teens

The victims are 10, 14, 15 and 16. Police say the three suspects may be teenagers.

'The guys with masks came up to the home at Collier Street and Carrolton Street right near Brays Bayou in SE Houston a little after 9 p.m.

Some family members were outside when they came to the door and started calling for people to come out of the house, according to Assistant Police Chief Megan Howard.

“Family members were outside, saw them approaching, saw them with the guns, attempted to go inside. . .eventually the door was opened and we believe two of the males, two of the suspects, then discharged pistols into the house,” Howard said.'

ABC13's Courtney Carpenter spoke with a family member of the kids who were shot. She said they are all siblings, and two of them have more serious injuries than the others.

The woman said her 15-year-old nephew is still in the ICU. He reportedly has a long road to recovery ahead after being shot in the stomach and losing part of his colon''.
