Do authorities no longer fingerprint persons during their arrest? The Galveston mugshot of Alejandro has a Dec 2021 date, and we know the John Doe was found in an abandoned bus in January 2022, and soon after pronounced dead at a Houston hospital.

I was shocked to learn how quickly the JD was buried, but was told they retain fingerprints and DNA from the unidentified decedents before the interment. Nonetheless, there are several posts on the FB page stating Alejandro has been eliminated as a match.
I think they were cited. Probably no finger prints. I'm surprised there is a mugshot.

A municipal hold is a temporary detention, usually lasting less than 24 hours (excluding weekends/holidays), by city police for outstanding tickets, warrants, or minor offenses like public intoxication. It signifies the individual is held for a city court rather than a county or state facility.

He wasn't charged with or arrested for any crime.
