I found a Joaquin Puente on Classmates.com who looks very similar to this UID. He attended Lorenzo (Texas) High School in, at least, 1973 and 1974. That spelling is a little different and not all that uncommon, so I don’t know for sure if he was ever missing. I’m never good at determining that. The resemblance is striking though. Maybe someone can help figure out if this guy is still alive or was ever missing. (PM Photo attached)

I found his dad's obituary...

His dad died in 2009 and and it states "Survivors include; his wife,.....three sons; Joaquin Puente, Jr. of..."

BTW Lorenzo, Texas is 522 miles away from Houston. It's located near Lubbock. Parents are from Texas and mom's maiden starts with a "C", not an "E" as in "JPE"

With all the tatts on this UID, I don't think they run in the same social circles. The guy up in Lorenzo looks pretty clean cut.

I think our UID is named Joaquin Puente and his tattoo bears his initials "JPE" and he is probably from Mexico.

Was his name Joaquin or Joaquim (Joaquim is Portuguese) ?

According to “Joaquin Tuentes” report, his initials were somewhat similar to his real name.
