I want to submit Theresa Jones to Namus, but I'm scared that they won't listen to me because of her tattoo.

If you want to do it, then go ahead, do what your heart tells you. Maybe they'll listen if you're persistent enough.

Earth...dont ever be scared to submit if you feel strongly about it. You could help ID someone, so you have nothing to lose.

Exactly! You won't harm anyone, but you just about might help. Go ahead, it's better to try than regret not trying at all.

She's been in my head all day with the marvelous news of Sumter County Does' identification. Cannot wait until it is our girl's turn :)

Same. My mind always goes back to our little lady here. Her day will come, I’m sure of it.

@othram It would be more than appreciated if you took on this girl's case. If only local LE weren't so stubborn.

Jane, it's your turn to go home. Please help us give you your name back.

Ruth Ann/Ruthie Doe as one of us calls her.
This little lady was beautiful in life - even with the beating you can see the beautiful young lady that lost her life.

Lime Lady was also identified! So her, Pesos JD, and the Sumter JDs are a hopeful sign that WCJD will be next or soon! I’m continuously keeping watch.

I realise this is probably way off and she is from a different state and her hair colour is darker but has anyone looked at Cheryl Wyant?.
It says she was in a car crash before she disappeared in 1978 which could account for WCJD scars and she was living in a group home which could account for her flippant comments about her parents.
Probably no connection at all but look at her photo!

I wonder if her killer is connected to the deaths of the Harris county does. All three were murdered in east texas in late 1980, and all 3 were beaten and strangled to death. Might have been someone targeting runaway teens.

Months ago Margaret Press of DNA Doe Project responded to someone on the DDP facebook page who asked if they could take on WCJD & she responded that "someone else is working her case."

So it's not DDP and it doesn't seem to be Barbara Rae-Venter because Carl Koppelman asked her in a facebook group if she was working on her case, among others, and WCJD was not one of the cases she listed. So could be another group or genealogist.

@othram It would be more than appreciated if you took on this girl's case. If only local LE weren't so stubborn.

Someone already appears to be working the case, we just don't know who.

Ruthie and Margaret are really nice pseudonyms for Our Girl. Much better than say Lindsay or Madison.
