Chances are slim but did anyone ever check to see if Walker County Jane Doe is Helen Claire Frost who went missing in Canada in 1970?

She would have been 28 when WCJD was found so I'd say that rules it out but they do look quite similar

Her age, and again if you compare the post-mortem photos of WCJD, the incredibly features, particularly her nose.

Plus, I think a really young looking 28 year-old if asked "Do your parents know where you are?" would be more inclined to say something like "Lady, mind your own business, I'm almost 30" rather than tell the waitress she was 19.

I have to agree, I dont believe this is our girl....
Does anyone know how long it would take on foot, to walk from the first witness sighting to the second truck stop? And do we know what time she was spotted at the 2nd location?....just trying to develop a timeline.

So there is alot of mention on here about our girl having a bag.
I have never heard about that outside of here.
Is this certain? Only because, IMO, a girl..of any age..would carry something , if she was not local and didnt plan to be back by the end of the day, to put change of clothes, toiletries, ect in.
I dont recall the witnesses saying she had anything...some reports say carrying red sandals.
This is kinda important..no bag COULD mean she wasn't planning to be gone for long or was checked in to a motel.
Bag indicates overnight or longer.
Body was found with no clothes, sandals nearby, and what they think is her nylons to strangle.

This is interesting to me because of some information sandwiched within these lengthy threads.

So, at some point, she was seen and it appeared she had been sleeping (maybe) in a car and (highly likely) in her clothing.

I wonder if she just ditched someone and left whatever she brought with her, and if she didn't bring much to begin with.

We also don't know her exact age, and its likely she didn't plan it through like our adult minds might think to bring extra clothing, undies, socks, and hygeine.

Maybe not, it was 1980.

There is some super crazy statistic that I read years ago about how (something like) 90% of all pictures ever taken have been taken within 5 years of the statistic being presented.

They didn't have easy access to phone cameras or anything like that, so it would not be impossible to think.

About the prison unit and the person she was claiming to go see.....

Is it possible that no one recognized her (in addition to the fact that she was a young girl and didn't want to admit that) because she was essentially "catfishing" someone there?

She could have sent photos of someone else, or not sent photos and could have claimed to be much older. Either ways, keeping a penpal in that particular prison.

I guess it doesn't really help identify her, but its just something to think about.

That is so crazy you say that because just the other day I had this thought. It just hit me out of nowhere when I was thinking about it. For whatever reason, I also feel that she won't have a picture to be shown :/
