The woman was last seen leaving Sleep Inn and Suites at 3825 National Parks Highway.

She recently transferred her supervised probation (for second degree felony drug conviction) from Texas to New Mexico (Carlsbad) in January 2025. She also had 2 DWI's the second driving with a BAC greater than .15 so she got both jail time and probation for that.

“We just need some kind of clue, some hint…something that someone saw her, Frankie Kennedy, Jadyn’s grandmother said. “We’re not accusing anyone of anything. Just tell us, did you see her? Where did you see her? What time?”

Her family is especially concerned because Jadyn was always connected through her phone and social media. “She lived for that phone,” Frankie Kennedy said. “That phone was in her hand 24/7. But she hasn’t done any posting, no calls, no texts. That’s just not like her.”

Originally from McCamey, Kennedy graduated from Odessa College and lived in Odessa before moving to Carlsbad three months ago. Her grandmother, who goes by “Granny,” described their close relationship and Kennedy’s vibrant personality.
“She was family-oriented, very loving, especially when it came to me—she was really good to me. Independent, pretty strong—strong-willed, I’ll put it that way. When she got her mind set on something, she would do it.”

She left the hotel with her purse which was later found in the vehicle. That seems strange to me, if you left with your purse you clearly intended using any cash, cards etc at some point after leaving that hotel. The fact that it was left in the vehicle probably means she intended to return to the vehicle within a short amount of time. Did she stop off somewhere near the where the vehicle was with all intentions to return? Or was she forced out of the vehicle?

Did she normally lock her car?
If so where are her car keys? in her apt. or not found?
Did someone harm her in her apt, take the keys, and then put her purse in her car for whatever reason....to deflect?
This is so sad.

I know what you mean. I have trouble getting correct states a lot.
 
  • Jadyn was found dead Wednesday, Feb. 26, outside her apartment at the Village of Carlsbad Apartments in the 3800 block of National Parks Highway.
  • law enforcement will await autopsy results before proceeding with the case, and declined to say if police believed a crime had occurred.
  • They also declined to say if Jadyn appeared to have suffered any injuries, if anyone was present at the scene where she was found or if any suspects or persons of interest were being sought

So she apparently was struggling with alcohol. Wonder if she abuse other substances? Maybe her reading for being at the hotel?
