URGENT: Police are searching for endangered missing girl, possibly with her father

Texas police are searching for a teen girl who they believe is with her father, according to a report made to Child Protective Services (CPS).

The Dallas Police Department reports that 13-year-old Jennifer Mejia, also known as Vanessa, could be with her father, Felipe Mejia, in San Antonio or possibly the North Texas area. She was reported as an “endangered child” to CPS, which sparked the hunt for her.

According to police, Jennifer is from Honduras and arrived in Texas around a month ago. She’s described as 4 foot 11 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with any information on Jennifer’s whereabouts should contact one of the following officers at the Dallas PD’s High Risk Victims Unit:

This may be unrelated, but a good teen stopped to help a man and girl who were stopped on the side of the road. He was beaten and left for dead. They took his cell phone.

Rockport, TX is east of San Antonio along the gulf coast.
