Silver Alert issued for missing 64-year-old North Richland Hills man

•last seen mid-morning Sunday in the 5000 block of Wyoming Trail in North Richland Hills.

•a 6-foot-1 white man with a slender build, weighing 125 pounds and has grey hair and brown eyes.

•Thompson was diagnosed with cognitive impairment and is "believed to pose a credible threat to his own health and safety."

•last seen wearing a tan and navy jacket driving a silver 2017 Toyota Corolla with a 7XDE895 California license plate, believed to be headed to California.

Police searching for missing man, possibly seen in Lubbock

A Silver Alert has been issued.
The windshield of the vehicle he was last seen in has a crack on the passenger side from top to bottom and a dent on the rear bumper.
Police are currently trying to ping Mr. Thompson’s cell, with the last known location of the ping in Lubbock, Texas.

**LOCATED** Mr. Thompson has been located safe in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Thank you for all your shares and assistance in ensuring he was found! (Update 12/16/19 - 1300)

MISSING PERSON - SILVER ALERT
64 year old John Thompson was last seen mid-morning in the 5000 block of Wyoming Trail. John is about six feet tall, has a slender build and grey hair. John was last seen wearing the jacket pictured below - tan/navy jacket. (Update 2030 to confirm a piece of clothing he is wearing). He is driving a 2017 Silver Toyota Corolla. It has CA LP/7XDE895. John is possibly enroute to California. (Update 2030 to confirm CA plate on vehicle)

Our team is currently trying to ping Mr. Thompson’s cell, with the last known location of the ping in Lubbock, Texas. DPS approved the issuance of a Silver Alert for John just shortly after 8:00 pm. We are in the process of working with DPS to issue a Silver Alert for Mr. Thomas. (Update at 2030)
