Polygraphs are junk science. it simply does not matter how many or when TT passed these or not.

That being said I dont believe he did this in a typical jealous rage type killing. he probably knows more about a motive and people involved than he has told though.

Agree. I've often wondered whether TT stayed quiet to protect his family-- especially his son (ST). jmo

JMO, but my thoughts regarding TT are:
* He knows that as Rachel's husband he makes the POI/suspect list and AFAIK has never balked at LE investigating him
* He made the intriguing comment, "I had nothing to do with my wife's disappearance", when interviewed for an article (Portrait of a True Crime Character). While I don't believe he was directly responsible for the girls' disappearance, I firmly believe he has knowledge of what happened.
As far as the three polygraphs are concerned, either he knows how to pass them, is the sociopath some have claimed, or he's innocent. JMO
He probably has a good poker face and excellent control over his emotions. I think he paid someone to get rid of Rachel and the other two were collateral damage.

Exactly. Those results don’t indicate guilt or innocence. They just suggest he knows how to play the game.

Rachel's sister also took multiple tests-- apparently with inconclusive results. Maybe they both knew how to play it.
I personally think that although it's very likely DA and TT know something, they were not directly involved, but someone out there who was has allowed them to take the heat for it. jmo

Personally, I've never got the vibe that it was the husband. Why complicate things by abducting/murdering two other girls who had nothing to do with it? Just because there may have been tensions within the family do not mean they are behind the disappearance.

There are witness reports of the girls being forced into a truck. I think it most likely was a random abduction and someone posing as an authority figure took them. I would not be surprised if they had an accomplice.

Rachel and Renee had regular use of the Olds. We don't really know where all they went (besides school) and who they associated with or even avoided on a regular basis. Having been a teenager with a new-to-me ride, I imagine they did quite a bit of local cruising, because they could. Two young ladies cruising around could've gotten the attention of someone with shady intentions, whether stranger or trusted family friend. Just a thought and jmo.

I still suspect the husband. Usually it is someone close to the victim. I wouldn’t be surprised if in the background there was disharmony in the relationship and Rachel’s husband did something to her in front of the other gals which required him removing them as well. Someone really needs to grill him, see if any holes appear in his alibi and do a deep dive into exactly what the relationship between husband and wife was like in reality.

There was a bust up in a local bowling alley a night or two before the girls disappeared apparently.
