TAYLOR, Kathryn On or about September 10th, 2015, Kathryn (Kate) Angela Taylor disappeared from our lives. She was only 40. After 7 long years of hoping and searching, the family has decided it's time for closure and will gather to celebrate her life and her music. Kate had written more than 30 songs in her all-too-short life for which she had developed an enthusiastic following at the East Dallas clubs where she often performed. Funny, beautiful and talented, Kate was, quite simply, a force of nature who lived her life with incredible passion and courage, despite her ongoing battle with mental illness. Kate is survived by her mother Susan, her brother Adam as well as an extended family of adoring aunts, uncles and cousins.
