Circumstances of Recovery:
Skeletal remains found 0.9 mi S of entrance to South Beach about 50 feet from surf's edge. Remains were observed laying face up and head in a southernly direction. Evidence indicates the body washed ashore during high tides.

These say authorities thought the remains could be those of a missing California man who fell overboard from a shrimp boat 7 miles out from Port Aransas on the 21st of October. I’m not finding a name for the missing man though.
