NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman with a history of mental illness.

Circumstances of DisappearanceLinda has been reported missing from her residence since early Sunday morning (2-9-2020 at approx. 0125 hrs). Wheeler left her residence on foot in the 700 block of County Road 154 Nacogdoches, TX and has not been seen since.

Details of Disappearance
Wheeler was last seen at her residence in the 700 block of County Road 154 ten miles north of Nacogdoches, Texas at 1:25 a.m. on February 9, 2020. She left home on foot, without her shoes on. She may have been trying to go to San Augustine, Texas to visit family members; she has been known to hitchhike. She never arrived there, however, and has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case.
