One vicious beating in the weeks before his death left the boy unable to speak, police say.

The teenager said that about two weeks before her brother was killed, Trumbull stomped on his head. She her brother was no longer himself and unable to speak clearly after the intense beating.

On the last night of his life, his sister said Logan was beaten with a belt, a stick and hands when he began to have seizures. 'They just kept hurting him,' the distraught sister allegedly told officers.

Johnson and Trumbull then allegedly tried to feed him soup when he began coughing up blood.

Ohh no no no! There was a welfare check done just two weeks prior, according to the article. If only the authorities had known! This breaks my heart.
 
Horrific. Prayers that Logan's sister get all the assistance possible in processing the trauma she endured and witnessed. I don't even have words. each case more awful than the last. I can't even express what I wish for the [unusual individuals] responsible. Think of the worst torture you can imagine and you aren't even close.
 
Pre-trial hearing has been continued again for Stormy Johnson in the murder trial of her son, 11 year old Logan Cline.

Johnson is also charged with tampering with or destroying evidence that was left behind after the child's murder.

Corey Trumbull was the boyfriend of Logan Cline's mother.
