Lubbock police have confirmed that a bone found at Clapp Park on Monday is human.

Police have identified the bone as a tibia, commonly known as a shin bone.

(...)

The park is located at 40th and Avenue U. The bone was found behind Safety City.

The Lubbock Fire Rescue dive team has been brought in to search the playa lake at the park, and the remains will be sent to a lab for analysis.

Lubbock Police Department Public Information Officer Ray Mendoza said, "We have to send the bone for further analysis and until that happens...we're not going to know the sex, the race, the age or anything like that. We're hoping that somebody will come forward for that so we can proceed and get ahead of the investigation."

Zoe Campos's facebook page seems to indicate that they are waiting to hear if it's Zoe. So I think she at least is being compared.
