I remember hearing about this horrific case back in 2014. IIRC, they didn't have any clues who had done this ATT.

Glad they finally caught the perp. via DNA (re: the article linked above). Also glad he was stupid enough to come back to the U.S. Obviously, if he had stayed overseas he may have never been caught...even though the authorities here in the U.S. knew he had committed the crime.

A Texas murder suspect was arrested in connection with a 2014 cold case killing after he came back to the country from China.

''A man accused of killing a family of four in Texas, including two children, in 2014 was arrested in San Francisco over the weekend after arriving on a flight from China.

Feng Lu, 58, was taken into custody Sunday by the San Francisco Police Department and U.S. Customs and Border Protection and is being held in a Northern California jail pending his extradition to Texas, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Tuesday.

I am willing to bet Feng Lu not getting the promotion was the tipping point. He is likely to be perpetually aggrieved. He is likely angry at the world.
