Found Deceased TX - Mark Anthony Gutierrez, 35, San Antonio, 3 Feb 2019

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Mark Anthony Gutierrez.

Gutierrez was last seen Sunday in the 500 block of North Loop 1604 East.

He was wearing a white hoodie, gray sweat pants and tennis shoes.

Gutierrez has a tattoo of lips on his neck and "April" tattooed on his right forearm.

He is 35 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.

If you have seen Gutierrez or have any information on his whereabouts, please call the San Antonio Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660.

Family pleads for information on man missing since Sunday

His girlfriend, April Martinez, said she got a disturbing phone call from Gutierrez’s phone on Monday.

“I answered it, and I asked, 'Where are you?' And a female answered and said, 'I’m sorry, I have bad news to tell you. He's deceased.' Of course, I freaked out and started crying,” Martinez said.

Martinez said the woman on the other end refused to give any more information and never called back.

Missing San Antonio man found dead

SAN ANTONIO — The family of Mark Anthony Gutierrez has confirmed with us he was found dead.

RIP Mark. This is very sad for his family and girlfriend. I hope that the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office can issue a cause and manner of death quickly.
