Texas father charged in infant's death after admitting to police he punched him in face

DENTON


A father of an infant who died admitted striking the baby with his fist, Denton police said Monday.

Emilio Morales, 24, was arrested Monday and charged with injury to a child, which is a first-degree felony.

The infant was identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner's office as Max Morales of Denton. Max, born May 3, was less than 2 months old, according to the medical examiner's office.
