Mercedes has been found deceased, announced by her mother yesterday.

UPDATE 10/4/22: Remains found have been identified as Mercedes. No details on where or how the remains were discovered.
I hope this discovery will lead to evidence that reveals the identiy of he killer. The glitch with the surveillance video doesn’t sound like a coincidence to me. MOO

I think most of us here know basically what happened and law enforcement as well, who are keeping the guy in custody and pretty close ears on him too. Hopefully information gleaned from the new forensics will help them to get concrete corroboration that he knows things he only could have known if he was the killer. It's a shame how often this happens.
