There's not much information regarding Michelle's case so far. The media sources I've seen all have basically the same information, similar to what has been posted above.

There's no mention of Michelle being in a relationship, having children, etc.

LE says a Hispanic man could've possibly picked her up in a white 2005-2010 Toyota Camry.

Based on the statement above from LE it's not clear whether this 'Hispanic man' could be involved in her disappearance. Did a witness actually see her accept a ride from someone driving a white Camry, or could this sighting perhaps be from security video?

I don't think they have a witness who actually saw her get into the vehicle. Hopefully there's some video available and LE is reviewing it.

Per this article she lives a few blocks away from the ice cream shop, so it doesn't seem like she'd need a ride. MOO

Thanks @PommyMommy for the update. At least we know she lives nearby and it's entirely plausible that Michelle could easily have walked to the location where she was last seen.

I'm wondering if she went there with the intent to meet someone (perhaps the 'Hispanic man' with the Camry)? Based on the MSM reports, we don't know for certain that she actually met anyone. The MSM reports indicate this man 'could've possibly picked her up' but that statement is ambiguous at best.

Any information about cell phone records or security video would be helpful. Also, did she inform any family members or friends that she had plans to meet anyone that evening?

On 04/12/2023 Christopher Paul Maya, (34-year-old male) was taken into custody by the USMS Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at a Wal-Mart parking lot located at 4530 Woodrow Bean. Maya was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a warrant for Murder with a bond of $1,000,000 signed by Judge Nava.
History - El Paso, Texas – On 03/31/2023 a missing person’s report was filed with officers from Pebble Hills Regional Command. Crimes Against Persons began a missing person investigation for Michelle Morales-Nakaza. A body was located in the area of Red Sands in El Paso County and was determined to be the body of the deceased. The investigation into the murder will continue by Crimes Against Persons. If anyone has any information on this investigation they are asked to contact the El Paso Police Department at 915-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477 (TIPS) to remain anonymous.

The link below indicates Michelle lived near the ice cream store, so apparently she didn't live in the car. It's not mentioned whether they lived together.

Affidavit: Man bragged about killing missing El Paso woman over lost wallet

A man arrested in the death of an El Paso woman bragged to friends about the slaying and said he did it over a missing wallet, an affidavit states.

Maya allegedly told the friend on multiple occasions that he was going to "kill her (Morales-Nakaza)."

Maya allegedly told the friend he assumed Morales-Nakaza took his wallet, so he shot her twice in the chest, the affidavit says.

Morales-Nakaza then slumped over after being shot. Maya then shot her again in the face, the affidavit states.

The friend told police Maya was excited about shooting Morales-Nakaza and got more excited when he told him that part of her face was blown off from the shot, according to the affidavit.

The friend told police he needed to tell someone about the confession, so he told another friend, who called the police.

Police detectives then met with a second friend of Maya.

The second friend's account of the events matched the first friend's story. The two did not know each other, according to the affidavit.
