She must be really miserable/desperate.
Well, yes, after spending around a year in the Travis County jail knowing she'll likely be going to prison for life I'd say extremely miserable/desperate, but likely working out a lot so she could try a breakaway!
Wonder if she'll be in shackles if she goes anywhere again.
The facilities for women incarcerated by Travis County are basically "OK" -- not the best, not the worst.

Crazy that she wasn't in shackles for the doctor visit.

Where was she going?
Down the block to get her 11s botoxed?
Would be curious to know if someone
likeasista was waitin’ for her….

MOO
Prayers for MO’s family & friends.
May the jury take just long enough for GUILTY paperwork!

I wonder if more details will come out. How did they finally catch her (again)? Did she stop running willingly? Was she tackled (perhaps leading to a new nose job)? Was she in handcuffs or no restraints at all?

I'm hoping the media is able to get some security camera footage from businesses in the area. Would love to see her tackled.

Not sure about that. See my post #772 above. KVUE edited their original story as follows, and the 3707 Second Street location seems to be an orthopedic group - Ascension Medical Group.

KVUE updated the story noting a correction in the location:

AUSTIN, Texas — Editor's note: A previous version of this story stated that Armstrong was leaving a doctor's appointment at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. However, she was leaving an appointment at a different location. KVUE confirmed that Armstrong ran away from deputies while leaving a doctor's appointment at 3707 Second Street, shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

ETA Google Maps street view link:

Thank you!
I deleted the above.

Oh my. Well, this incident will definitely cast a shadow on any story that the defense presents for KA’s “innocent trip” to Costa Rica. It appears that she has a penchant for getting the beep out of Dodge, MOO.

Wonder if new charges will be added for attempted escape?

She’s committed to her cause, that’s for sure.

She wasn't trying to escape. Prolly just wanted some Starbucks.

She makes her own rules. Or tries.

I had to chuckle looking at Google Maps as there's a salon nearby and an acupuncture clinic, among other businesses inc a thrift shop on the other side of a major highway there. Maybe she thought she could talk her way into a job at the acupuncture place, but she'd need a change of attire. How on earth did she figure she'd be able to do that? Strip down and walk into the thrift shop and do a little theft? Would honestly love to have someone be able to interview her.
