As to where in the world is KA, some timeline things are still pretty interesting. She landed on the 14th of May in NYC. The arrest warrant was issued on the 17th. Her father made his statement on the 24th saying he last spoke with her "five days earlier" on the 19th (ish). (Father of suspect Kaitlin Armstrong says he believes she didn’t kill Anna Moriah Wilson) and they were still looking for her in Austin. This means he spoke with her last about two days after the arrest warrant was issued. His statement was made a day before it was revealed that she landed in NYC on the 14th. It would be hard to not know that she was wanted when he last spoke with her. LE lost the trail after NYC landing. ('Surrender': Police send message to yoga teacher on the run) Still seems pretty hard to not have any idea about where she went if an airline was involved. Livonia Michigan is just 617 miles from NYC and there are clearly buses that go from NYC to Livonia. It is seemingly odd that many days after the incident, he makes a public statement and then within 24 hours, the fact that she was in NYC is made public on the 25th. Isn't it? It is also a pretty easy fact to observe that Livonia (Detriot) is right outside of Canada and a body of water separates them and the rights of US boats to essentially be in Canadian waters are pretty expansive and appear subject to self-reporting oversight. (Lake St. Clair Guide Magazine | Fishing / Boating Canada on Lake St. Clair for U.S Citizens UPDATE). Not sure there is any firm conclusion to draw here but the timeline raises some interest about what might have been involved.

Can they not find surveillance footage of where she went In Newark airport??
I posted the theory that KA went to Newark Liberty on May 14 after Laguardia to possibly catch an international flight being it's a major hub. The fact she arrive there on May 18 poses the possibility she maybe obtained a fake passport between May 14 and May 18 by an accomplice or other means in the area. I agree, Definitely need to look at surveillance to try and trace her next move.

Reading posts above about Penn Station, this is possible as well, I do not know how technology has changed but in 2009 when by brother went missing, he paid cash for an Amtrak ticket from Philly Airport to Penn Station and it was a task to find/trace it. My friend with TSA in Florida knew someone in Philly Transportation and we were told they had to go through each ticket by hand on 1/7/09 to look for his name. I would imagine that tracing by name whether you paid cash, pre-paid card is different now. I feel there is going to be more info coming very soon from LE on the next sighting from Newark Liberty. How would Newark sighting fit into this scenario?

Thanks for this!! More here, plus reward announced:

Kaitlin Armstrong: US Marshals announce reward for suspect in cyclist love triangle slaying

Marshals say Armstrong was dropped off at Newark Airport on May 18 – one day after her arrest warrant for murder was announced

Did the US Marshals mention what time of day KA was dropped off at Newark Liberty on May 18? and by what means?

Ha! I had not seen the Newark angle so the Canadian part seems potentially irrelevant. However the timeline relating to her father, her travel, proximity of MI to NYC and whatnot all still raises the curious questions. Four days is a ton of time and now it remains even more curious that her Father noted having spoken with her around the 19th (ish) but delayed five whole days before making an unprompted statement online professing her innocence. I find those points still very curious - a statement essentially professing his belief at her innocence while also having been in contact with her during the period the arrest warrant was active and now possibly at the time during or just after her trip to the Newark Airport.

I guess the wording of the recent Newark statement remains somewhat ambiguous as well - she was "dropped off" in Newark with no flight information relating to her. It seems like airports are loaded with cameras and the statement stops short of saying she was found inside the airport.

Is it possible the Newark Liberty surveillance video footage would not be retained this long? I have no idea what the industry standard is for keeping that, and we are almost 3 weeks after May 18.

Yes, I believe a false passport and disguise may have allowed her to fly out undetected.

Indeed even after 2001 you could take the AMTRAK trains anonymously— but restrictions may have tightened up since the pandemic.

Since KA seems to be a lot smarter than a lot of us initially thought, I think it's useful to think through how this could have been planned and executed. I'm going to discuss two different scenarios: that MW's murder was in the works for an extended period of time (Scenario 1) and that MW's murder was a spur-of-the-moment decision (Scenario 2).

Scenario 1: KA has been plotting MW's murder for an extended period of time, perhaps months or even since CS's first instance of infidelity. Knowing that she wants to kill MW, KA plants an idea in CS's head that both of them should have weapons, maybe telling him that now that they are planning on traveling in the renovated trailer, they should have weapons to protect themselves if they are camping in isolated areas, so CS and KA go to a gun store and purchase 2 handguns. KA, knowing that she is going to need to flee as soon as she kills MW, starts considering what she would need to execute an escape plan. The most important things she needs to acquire are a fake passport, access to cash, and a place to go.

She goes on the dark web, or uses one of the many Telegram channels specializing in the production of fake passports, to buy some sort of fake passport, most likely not a US passport. If she speaks French even passably, she may opt to purchase a Belgian or French passport as those are some of the easiest and most common ones passports to fake. She has been working in real estate and likely has access to some cash, let's assume $20,000. She spends $8-10,000 on the fake passport, which she gets shipped to a PO box, one of her rental properties, or the Wheelhouse Mobile business. While she is waiting for MW to arrive in Austin for the race, she withdraws additional cash from her banks in increments of under $10,000 so it isn't flagged. She creates a 'go bag' which she stashes somewhere she doesn't believe CS will find it, such as one of the rental properties. Alternatively, she may give the bag to a family member/friend for safe-keeping and tells them she may need them to ship her the box at a later date. She may have even opened a PO box in NYC.

Then, when MW is in town and CS meets up with her, she kills MW. Detectives question and release her, and we know that she then went to a neighbor's house and frantically asked them to use their phone. Perhaps she asked the family member/friend to mail the box to the address in NYC. She then flies to LaGuardia, and has to wait there until the box with the fake passport, cash, and whatever else she might need to arrive before flying out of the country. Knowing that she would be receiving a package with the necessary supplies, she leaves Austin with only a yoga mat and few other things to not tip authorities off to her plan. Then she receives the package and pays cash and takes a cab to Newark-Liberty airport where she buys a ticket out of the country, perhaps to somewhere like Thailand or Vietnam. She uses the fake passport to get on the flight and gets out of the country.

Scenario 2: KA didn't have a long-standing plan to kill MW and it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. She confronts MW, shoots and kills her, and is brought in for questioning but is released. She now sees that she has time to flee and books a flight to NYC in an attempt to buy her more time to figure out her next move. She goes on the dark web and buys a passport (which probably wouldn't be possible as I highly, highly doubt she could obtain one in only 4 days), or pays someone who looks similar to her for their passport (more likely than buying a fake one). She spends four days in NYC figuring out how to acquire the resources and cash necessary to flee the country. Perhaps she reaches out to her family/friend and asks them to purchase a passport for her/mail her one of theirs (if she has a relative/friend who looks similar) or wire her money. Once she has a decent enough passport and some money, she takes a cab or Amtrak to Newark-Liberty, where she buys a ticket out of the country, boards the plane, and leaves.

That’s a possibility, unfortunately.
Additionally, she may have cut and dyed her hair and disguised herself in other various ways making her difficult to spot on camera.

New warrant issued May 25. Has this been reported before? What jurisdiction is that warrant in
As to what jurisdiction issued the newest warrant “On May 25, investigators obtained from the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Texas another warrant for Armstrong for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, confirmed authorities in a statement Monday.”

Source Authorities offer $5,000 reward for Kaitlin Armstrong, last known location Newark Liberty Airport

Doesn’t $5,000 sound.. low
Maybe my thinking is warped or biased, but if KA we're a man, would the marshal service be issuing public pleas to "turn yourself in" & offering a reward that is laughable?

If she committed this crime as the AA states, shouldn't the response be more tough and robust, as in "we are following & watching your every move; you will be brought to justice."

The begging for her cooperation just doesn't sit right with me.

I noticed in the US Marshals Wanted poster shown in this story, the small inset picture of KA is one I don’t know if we’ve seen before.

The new wanted poster also says she is wanted for "1st degree murder," when I believe the previous poster just said she was wanted for "homicide."

ETA link to old wanted posted that just says she is wanted for "homicide – Austin, TX"

Yes, I think they realize how different she can look without the long hair showing, and without makeup.

Yes — they seem to be upgrading:
