(Mod Note: These posts (#1 & #2) were made off-topic on a different thread, so this thread was created, and they were moved to this thread.)

How about Ruben Ramirez from Fort Worth, TX? He is about the right height, weight, and age. His photo isn't very clear, but looks similar to the reconstruction (facial shape, nose, and the features that are "sort of" visible).

Ran across this unknown man found March 16,1990 on a TX beach. Could this be Ruben?

Date Of Birth: July 24, 1973
Age at Time of Disappearance: 16 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'8; 100 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Hispanic male. Brown hair; brown eyes.
Marks, Scars: Galvan's left ear is pierced with a gold stud earring. He has a scar under his right eye.
Clothing: A turquoise t-shirt with a horse on the front under a blue flannel checked jacket, blue jeans and brown boots.

The height is a little off, but the location/race/age is just right. It says "weapon found at scene". Does anyone know if the death was a homicide or not? There's pretty much nothing on this case out there :v

Checking in on Mustang Doe. His picture and the sketch of his jewelry are still not on NamUs. No DNA or Dentals available on NamUs.

The possibilities are still missing. Ruben Ramirez and Marti Shawn Hetzell have DNA complete. David Joseph Galvan still not on NamUs, but on other missing persons sites such as NCMEC. No surprise I got no answer from TXDPS Missing Persons Clearinghouse.

Who are you Mustang Doe?

www.namus.gov/UnidentifiedPersons/Case#/3976 still UID and now with an age range 17-25, race either Cauc or Hisp. He had brown hair and was slightly built, though I don't think the recon really shows his petite build. I'm not familiar with the medallion, perhaps others can input?

The silver medallion that JD had with him appears to be Italian, made in Italy.

Maybe a tourist visiting from Italy or of Italian descent and recently moved to the U.S. just a thought.

No public exclusions listed.

It is a Catholic protection amulet, called Benedict’s penny and supposed to protect the wearer against misfortune and sudden death without confession. It was in different shapes most popular in the 18th century but I guess it survived in very Catholic regions in Italy, Latin America, Spain etc.
