''SEGUIN, Texas — Tucked inside an office at Seguin Police are unsolved cases hoping to see the light of justice. The department currently has 14 unsolved cold cases.
Detective Jaime Diaz is the only person dedicated to these cases, which he took over nearly a year ago.
"I am giving the attention they need," he said.''

''Diaz highlighted two cases with KENS 5. On March 22, 2010 investigators said Olga Paz was found dead at a home on Bauer Street. Police said Paz was getting ready for work when she was brutally stabbed by an intruder. Diaz believes the mother didn't know her attacker.
'The detective said at one point, Paz's husband was arrested. But, said the charges were later dropped. He said new evidence recently came to light that he's currently reviewing.'
