For Immediate Release: Missing Person
January 4, 2019
The missing person has been identified as:
Omar Maya-Rangel, 32 year old Hispanic Male
On December 28, 2018, Omar left his home in Kyle, Texas in a green Ford Expedition bearing Texas License Plate: GYZ2390. On December 31, 2018 the vehicle was located in Caldwell County near the Blind Salamander RV Park (2025 N Old Bastrop Hwy). Personal belongings of Mr. Rangel were found inside the vehicle. An initial search was conducted; however, Mr. Rangel was not located. According to his family, Mr. Rangel has recently been experiencing mental health episodes and has lost considerable weight; accordingly, Mr. Rangel’s appearance will be thinner than the attached photographs. Mr. Rangel is 5’9” tall, has black hair and brown eyes. It is estimated that he currently weighs approximately 130 lbs. There is no information regarding his clothing description at the time of the incident.
