Truth to tell, there's not a whole lot to do. And of course it's miserably hot many months a year. There are the missions, historic and very nice. But the Alamo (also a church -- that's what the surviving building was, a church for the fort) is right downtown and it's cool but the area is tacky. Some amusement park too. Um, Sea World, but thank you no #freethedolphins. It's a great place to live, though -- laid back, wonderful people.
