Police have issued a welfare concern for a missing Harlingen woman.

Rebecca Jane Vega, 22 was last seen walking into the Harlingen Wal-Mart on June 25.

She is described as five-feet four-inches tall, weighs 180 and has brown eyes and long black hair.

Harlingen Police say Rebecca Jane Vega made contact with them on Monday afternoon, July 3.

Her family reported her missing nearly a week ago. She was last seen walking into the Walmart in Harlingen. Vega told Harlingen Police she is safe.
