States he was last seen at Christus St Elizabeth Hospital at 1:50pm. However, I’m not certain on circumstances around him being there. Was he a patient there? Visiting? Just outside the area of the hospital?

A Hardin County inmate had reported back in Dec. 2024 that he had found a skull while walking through a wooded area. He led investigators to the site where Robert Bodmer’s remains were found and now has been identified.

BEAUMONT, Texas — A skull and human remains discovered in a wooded area of Beaumont in December 2024 have been identified as Robert Wayne Bodmer, 44, who was reported missing from Jasper County, authorities said on Friday.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office identified Bodmer through an investigation that began Dec. 6, 2024, according to a news release from Beaumont Police. At that time, Hardin County deputies received a report from a Hardin County inmate claiming to have found a human skull while walking in woods near Beaumont, the release said. Bodmer's family has been notified.
