The Harris County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating an elderly man who has been missing since Sunday night.

Officials say 78-year-old Roberto Rene Garza was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of Sunnyvale Forest. They say he left on foot without a cell phone and should have a wallet with identification.

Garza is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-7, 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black pants and black or brown shoes, according to authorities.

Officials say Garza will know his name, but not his address. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact HCSO's Missing Person Unit at (713)-755-7427.

Mr. Garza passed away in November 2018. Per his obituary, he was surrounded by his daughters at the time of his death, so that means he had been found after going missing in 2017.
