The Bexar County medical examiner's office is asking the public for help identifying a man whose body was discovered Jan. 26 in Woodlawn Lake.

The person is believed to be Hispanic and in his 30s or 40s. He was about 5 feet 5 inches and 160 to 180 pounds.

Investigators said his body might have come out of a drainage tunnel that empties into Woodlawn Lake. The medical examiner hasn't released the cause of death.

The man had a mustache and salt-and-pepper hair. He had no tattoos, but did have a three-inch scar on his right forearm and a five-inch scar on the back of the left forearm. X-rays also show surgical screws in this area.

He also had a small burn scar on back of his left hand.

The man was wearing a large blue jacket, a large white T-shirt, black pants, a brown belt, size 31, no socks, and black and white tennis shoes, size 10. He also had a VIA bus schedule in his shoe.

Includes some pictures of where the body was found.

I couldn't find anything more recent than the article that started this thread.

The case isn't listed in Namus or the Texas DPS database, so he has probably been identified.

Still nothing. I think this thread could be marked "presumed identified"?
