Juan Ruiz-Carrillo, 47, a five-year veteran of the force, was arrested Monday night and charged with sexually assaulting a child, a second-degree felony, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

The girl reported the sexual assault to a youth pastor at her church, who told the girl’s parents, the affidavit says.

The girl told police that she initially sought help at her church last year, according to KENS-TV. The pastor then “counseled” Ruiz-Carrillo for about four months, the affidavit says.

I hope this poor excuse for a pastor is charged with aiding and abetting the officer - at the very least. Unsure if he was enjoying the details for four months during the 'counselling sessions' before finally reporting this crime to her parents, or was it a different pastor that reported the crime as soon as it was reported to him?
