“She's never done anything like this, and it's pretty scary,” Bianca said.

She said her mother left the house without her cell phone, wallet, and medication. Bianca said Torrez seemed depressed, suicidal, and in pain due to her Fibromyalgia.

"Basically she got tired of being in pain all the time. Maybe that's why she left. Maybe she don't want to be here anymore,” Bianca said.

According to Waco Police Torres was last seen in a bluish 2006 Kia. They are actively trying to find her and need the public's help.

Police hit a wall in investigation: http://www.kwtx.com/content/news/De...or-missing-Central-Texas-woman-468470253.html

Detectives working the case have hit a wall and have not received any helpful information on her whereabouts,” Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Tuesday.

She left her wallet and cellphone behind, Swanton said.

"(Her) family believes she was intoxicated and suicidal when she left,"
he said.

She may be driving a bluish-gray 2006 Kia.

“We believe Ms. Torres was dating a tall, thin, black male named Bruce. Bruce has gray hair and rides a bike around East Waco. It would be helpful if we could obtain information on Bruce as well,” Swanton said.

My hope is she drove to New Mexico to buy some weed and take some time off. Without credit or debit cards and ID she can't go far. Hopefully they track down Bruce - I'd think his contact info is in the phone she left behind.

A private operation called Adventures with Purpose was working with the Waco Fire Department to recover a two-toned blue-gray Kia Rio in the river near the south boat ramp at Brazos Park East.

Crews pulled car up from about 13 feet of water around 4:45 p.m. The windshield of the car was missing and the passenger side window was broken.

The vehicle matches the description of the car driven by Stephanie Torres, a convenience store clerk who disappeared in December 2017 at the age of 43.

Waco Police Det. Ruston Thompson took DNA swabs from Torres' family members who were waiting at the park during the recovery.

Torres' daughter, Bianca Rosas-Torres, 27, said she has never given up looking for her mother, who counted Brazos Park East as one of her favorite places.

She said her mother was despondent over health issues and suffered fibromyalgia, a syndrome that causes musculoskeletal pain.

Adventures with a Purpose officials contacted Rosas-Torres and offered to help after they came across her social media posts on about her missing mother.

She is found and her family has answers! Bless these divers! She was right off the boat ramp in about 13 feet of water.
