GUILTY TX - Thomas Van Hook, RSO offers to babysit, Jasper County, 2009

Thomas Van Hook will babysit for you for a mere $12.00 a weekend. Oh, but only girls between the ages of infancy to 9 years old.

Handwritten flyers started to appear with this odd request. They have a copy of it at link. Police became suspicious and low and behold this freak is a Registered Sex Offender. Van Hook also had written a letter to P&G telling them they should show more of children's genitals in their commercials.

This man needs to stay locked up. $300,000 bail for nutter.

O.K. in February of 2009 this freak was arrested for being a felon with a firearm.

I'm thinking that maybe when he was arrested in January '09 that's when they found the firearm, and took their sweet time getting an indictment on that charge....that's just my speculation, but would explain it -- especially because his step-bro Hopkins was indicted for the same thing...they were together when they hauled them in last January...Hopkins was arrested for other charges.

I did find that as of Oct '09, he was still in Jasper County jail - acting like a felon yet again -- caught him with a shank!

Free or low cost baby-sitting? Who was it just this month who was found guilty on child porn and rape charges and who offered free baby-sitting to an infant? Some dipstick Mom actually took the guys up on it. I looked and couldn't find the name (I'm sure someone can) but I guess it's not a new idea. Remember the classic Gary Larson/Far Side comic which showed a cat being lured into a clothes dryer by a wiley dog who'd posted the sign "cat fud". Poor unsuspecting (or stupid) cat!!
