On Thursday, July 29, 2010, Thomas Roy (Tommy) Vaughan was found deceased in the fenced-in yard of his business, Fort Williams Military Surplus and Supply Depot at 703 N. Williams in Amarillo. Tommy Vaughan was severely beaten to death. This incident is believed to have occurred on the morning of Wednesday, July 28, 2010.

Tommy Vaughan was a military veteran who proudly served his country.

Bohannon says even with the information they were able to gather from friends and neighbors, it still hasn't led them to a suspect.
