A Silver Alert has been issued for 73-year-old Troy N. Luce. He is 5’8″, weighs 230 pounds and has brown hair with brown eyes. Authorities believe he is in danger of death or serious bodily injury.

He was last seen at a residence in the 2400 block of W OSR in Brazos County, at approximately 6:15 p.m. Saturday. Troy was wearing a black t-shirt with a flag design and dark jogging pants.

The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley says Troy was in a dark blue 2017 Nissan Frontier, with Texas license plate MDS8909.

Authorities continue searching for missing Brazos County man, possibly left the state

73-year-old Troy Luce was last seen at a residence in Brazos County Saturday evening. Sunday evening, the family reported that Luce may have been spotted in Cross Plains and near Midland on Monday.

Authorities say Troy Luce may now be in New Mexico.

A statewide search for a missing Brazos County man will enter its fourth day on Wednesday and now alerts are being shared across state lines.

His life could be in danger, according to family and deputies who say Luce has early signs of dementia.

His credit card was pinged at a gas station in Cross Plains, Texas on Sunday.

But now that over 24 hours have come and gone that was the last confirmed time anyone has seen or heard from Luce.

Missing Brazos County man found deceased nearly 400 miles away from home

The Silver Alert for the missing Brazos County man was discontinued overnight on Wednesday.

Mr. Luce was found in the city of Midland, nearly 400 miles away, around 8 p.m. Tuesday on a jogging path behind a shopping center and his truck was later located stuck in mud at a nearby oil rig site.

According to family members, authorities believe dehydration and a heart attack may have led to his passing.
