Carrollton PD says Vincent Nguyen, 80, picked up his 5-year-old grandson, Victor Nguyen, around 3 p.m. from preschool. They haven’t been heard from since.

Police say the grandfather has possible memory issues.

UPDATE: They are safe.

Mr. Nguyen and his grandson were located tonight at a gas station in Hudson Oaks, TX, west of Fort Worth. They are fine. The Nguyen family is en route to Hudson Oaks to be reunited with and take care of their loved ones.

We will work with the family going forward to ensure everyone’s safety.
