#1 has the right hand tattoos "HOLD FAST", but the others aren't as colorful, but good guess
#2 unless he found clothes to wear. His tattoos aren't as colorful either
#3 went missing off a lobster fishing vessel in Maine in 2014 with another man that weren't able to get into suits in time. Not sure if that one isn't what you meant to list.

Thank you for your time and help trying to identify this man. Good work but not him.

It seems like he was probably a fisher or sailor with those tattoos. I found this:

“Hold Fast” written across the knuckles indicate a sailor’s career as a deckhand. It’s said that having “Hold Fast” on each of a deckhand’s fingers would give them the grip they needed to work with the ship’s lines and rigging.

Julia Triezenberg, Columbia River Maritime Museum

The "star" on his lower leg was probably a nautical star like in this tattoo:

His full name is Daniel Mark Schleinkofer. He was arrested for drug posession and meddling with a trash receptacle (whatever that means) In Wichita, TX in May 2022, months before he was found dead.

This might be about him, arrested for drug posession in Pennsylvania in 2003.

Not sure if I can link but he has a facebook that hasn't been updated since 2015, and it has a picture of him looking much healthier than he did in the mugshot. You can see the tattoo in it.

Meddling with a trash container is a charge to stop folks from dumpster diving.

Much appreciation for posting his full name along with the links.

Meddling with a trash container is a charge to stop folks from dumpster diving.
That's exactly what that charge is referring to. Whether it be for food in a restaurant garbage dumpster or behind a store like TJ Maxx as an example.

Can someone pls explain what is expected from these unclaimed cases? I suppose LE , when identifying the decedant, checks up and contacts family if they find someone alive, right?
So either there is no family, or the family refused to claim the person, correct?

Sorry I am a bit confused… in this case specifically, I think the parents may be in Philadelphia.
Thanks!

I think they are listed as unclaimed when family cannot be found/reached. There are cases from some states where it specifically says under Circumstances “looking for next of kin”. This is just my opinion, though.

OK thank you. I now reread all the admin posts to better understand also the rules of this forum. Initials of potential family members we find are allowed.
For this one, I found
Potential father : J F S, in PA
Potential mother. G. t. S, TX
Potential sister. A. J. C.

All living

To whom in WS should we send details via PM? I m not in the US so I cannot contact LE or family directly
Thanks :-)
