The Houston Police Department said the woman's neighbors called 911 around 10 p.m. after they noticed a strange smell coming from the home in the 12700 block of Leader St.
Police and firefighters made entry inside of the woman's garage and found her body "badly decomposed.'
Police are not exactly sure how she died bur says her body was there for several days. They believe some sort of struggle took place.

A red, 2003 Buick LaSabre that belonged to the woman, meanwhile, has been connected to a June 20 "dine and dash" at a Denny's near Chinatown, investigators said.
They said the suspects in the Denny's crime were described as two, skinny men who are about 19 years old.

The car's license plate is B72H409, they said.

Anyone with information is asked to call HPD's homicide division at 713-308-3600 or, if they wish to remain anonymous, CrimeStoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Maybe the perps followed her home and then hijacked her car when she drove into the garage. She may have tried to fight back and she got beaten to death. They took the car, lowered the garage door (robably by an automatic device in the car) and left.

How did these kids know she would be returning home? Why were they in the neighborhood to begin with?
