The United States Department of Justice withheld some Epstein files alleging that President Trump sexually abused a minor, an NPR investigation found. It also removed some documents from the public database where accusations against Jeffrey Epstein also mention Trump.

Some files have not been made public despite a law ordering their release. These include what appear to be more than 50 pages of FBI interviews, as well as notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a child.

The woman spoke to federal law enforcement shortly after Epstein was arrested in 2019 saying that he assaulted her on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, when she was 13 years old in or around 1984, according to a summary of the FBI interview released by DOJ. A source familiar with the investigation confirmed to NBC News that she is the same person who alleged that she was forced into a sex act with Trump when she was 13 years old in New Jersey. The FBI determined that the woman’s initial allegations against Epstein were significant enough that the FBI followed up with her for interviews on four separate dates: July 24, 2019, Aug. 7, 2019, Aug. 20, 2019 and Oct. 16, 2019.
