"Friends" star lookalike arrested in London
British police say they have arrested a suspect in the case of a shoplifter who resembles actor David Schwimmer of the hit TV series, "Friends."
The man was caught on a security camera stealing what looked like beer cans from a business in Blackpool, England. That happened in September.
David Schwimmer, the actor who played Ross Geller on "Friends," posted a twitter video last month that showed him in a convenience store clutching a carton of beer. he wrote: "Officers, I swear it wasn't me. as you can see, I was in New York."
After the arrest, Lancashire police tweeted: "Thank you for the support, especially @davidschwimmer!"
