Shocking CCTV shows a missing father-of-one being chased by a man before he was bundled into a BMW with the number plate RF12 0ZA.

Aron Kato, 28, was seen being pushed into a BMW in Ilford, east London shortly after 4.30am on April 18.

Police have now released CCTV footage, recorded in Ley Street at about 04:30 BST on 18 April, of the father-of-one being chased and pushed to the ground by an unidentified man.

Mr Kato, who has a three-month-old son with his partner Chanel Naidoo, has not made contact with his friends or family since he was last seen.

UPDATE: Investigation into missing man
Seven people, aged between 25 and 39, have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and bailed or released under investigation.

A £10,000 reward has been put up by Crimestoppers for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for Mr Kato's abduction and murder.

I remember following his case a while back.
It seems to look like Aron is dead, and has been for a while now. The attack and kidnapping was not random, and he was targeted. Gang trouble? It looks like.

His family did a plea, and his partner mentioned him being out with friends. I think his friends drew him out, and they were in on it and if not, they most certainly know something. Otherwise, it would be strange if the attackers knew where he was, unless they followed him 24/7. He is seen on CCTV at 4:30am being attacked, that's early morning. It would be plausible that he decides to leave his friends house or a party or whatever to go home, his friends let the attackers know, and it goes from there.

Did he meet friends to resolve 'the issue?' Or was it merely just a catch up with friends, the usual?

He calls her at midnight to tell her he's coming home. He's caught on camera at 04:30 being kidnapped. A huge time frame, 4 hours. He's in Ilford, yet resides in Newham; makes sense, he's meeting friends right? If we assume he met his friends in Ilford, the journey back home to Newham should only take an hour and a half max, whether that's by foot or by public transport.

That's approx. 3 hours unaccounted for. Did he make a detour?

He goes missing on the 18th April, yet this article is stating his 'death' on the 17th of July? Why hasn't this been covered that he is now dead?

At first, the investigation was for a kidnapping. IMO, on July 17, 2019, the investigation became a murder investigation, due to information gathered from the kidnapping investigation. He was kidnapped on April 18, 2019, just after 4:30 am, as seen on CCTV. There has been no date and time of death released by LE, IMO, Aron's probable death could have been right after the kidnapping, or it could have happened later. Until LE gets more information, the only people that know what happened to Aron are the kidnappers. I feel so sorry for Aron's family.
