We are releasing a new image in our search for Ashley Christie, 69, from Southampton.

Ashley was previously last seen in Southampton on Thursday, 18 August and officers have been conducting enquiries since he went missing.

Since publishing our appeal yesterday we have received a number of calls from the public which officers will be following up.

The new photo on the left was taken on Friday, 19 August and shows Ashley in Cobbett Road, Bitterne.

He is described as:

-White

-clean shaven

-shaved head

-around 5'8'' tall

-medium to large build

Ashley often travels to Southampton city centre, Bitterne and Portswood by bus but has also been known to travel to Winchester by bus.

A NEW CCTV image has been released of a missing Southampton man who was last seen a week ago.

Ashley Christie was reported missing on Thursday, August 18.

The image shows the 69-year-old in Westover Road, Bournemouth, just before 5.30pm on Friday, August 19.

Police say that he travelled there on a bus, which left Lymington shortly after 3.30pm.

Good news. Hampshire Constabulary have announced that "Ashley Christie, who had been reported missing in Southampton, ... has been located in Bournemouth over the weekend".
