UK-Bereaved mother kills herself in supermarket

A woman who walked into a supermarket in Shipley, Yorkshire, Tuesday and stabbed herself to death in the neck has been identified. Horrified staff and customers (including a nurse) were unable to save her.

36 year old Sobia Yousef of Frizinghall lost a daughter to a terminal illness five months ago, which is said to have 'torn her world apart'.

Thursday at the inquest, a heartbroken nurse recounted how she saw Sobia stab herself and fought in vain to save her. Sobia died in her arms.

And yet again, some crass young man has been charged with making racist comments about the death on FB. He's also been fired from his job.

I missed something. Unbelievably, the same nurse -Beata Borejko - had tried to save the life of a woman who died from a heart attack in the store, three years before.
