That Birthday card is just downright weird. If she honestly believed that B was alive she wouldn’t be sending her hugs and kisses!! She would be begging her to make contact with the authorities so she could be released. If you were completely innocent you’d would be questioning why you were being put through this.
If she hadn’t done anything she would be believing that someone else had killed her because why would she (BW) be putting her through this!! Therefore why write a card that was so full of “I can’t wait to see you”, IMO that card is for an audience not her daughter.

hi, im a long time follower of this case. I actually live in Peterborough and i have a friend who is/was really close to the walker family. I didn't ever talk to them but my friend was and still is pretty torn apart because of the whole situation. The case here locally dies down pretty quickly, and the only time it has some buzz about it is when either there are new searches going on for Bern or when there is a court appearance. Theres a lot of rural area over here so i can understand why its taking police so long to carry out their searches, just hoping something is found soon though, it always breaks me when i see Berns siblings talking about her.

It’s heart breaking! I really thought she’d have said something by now. I’ve not heard anything locally about it either.

I’ve seen comments that there have been potential sightings of her. Maybe there’s still hope.

It seems to be social media rumor and not a verified source. To arrest someone for murder without a body, I’ve got to imagine they have some sort of evidence that she came to harm. JMO

Plus, it’s very evident that her family is suffering enormously. It’s almost impossible to go on social media and not see how distressed they are... its heartbreaking. It’s very hard to imagine this young woman seeing that and still staying away/not making contact.

At Scott's plea hearing on Jan 29th it was said that 'Sarah Walker is expected to be asked to enter pleas within the next four weeks' so we're over that 4 week time schedule now.

My thoughts exactly. I had to actually stop myself from being on here for a bit as it really upset me. There's just something that struck me with this one.

It is also claimed that on 21 July they gave false information to police about Bernadette's disappearance.”

I can’t imagine that Sarah Walker will ever speak. She’s had ample time up to now and IMO is just as entrenched in this crime as Scott is. Anything she may say is likely to further incriminate herself so I’m thinking she’s firmly no comment. MOO

I wonder who they were sending messages to until 12/09 purporting to be from Bernadette? Just themselves or her friends and other family members? Was 12/09 the date of arrest or did something else make them stop sending messages?
